Ross Island Grocery Cafe - Portland

My favorite place for breakfast, lunch, and snacks the people at Ross Island are so kind and welcoming, the food is always incredible, and it is definitely affordable for the high quality of service/food here. I cannot say enough good things about this place, but can absolutely recommend the breakfast burrito!

Despite the place being busy (which is a good sign, of course! the staff were extremely kind and cooked up some of the most delicious food! I inhaled every last bite as quickly as I could. Prices are also really reasonable for what you get. We definitely will be back!

Definitely a stop for the best homemade sandwiches. Great Staff.

Our last visit was horrible. Four people were working and the only one who knew how to do EVERYTHING was stuck on the grill. We waited 40 minutes for a 'Black White ' mocha, Earl Grey tea, and a cup of oatmeal. My husband decided that he was done waiting order and walked out. The lady working the grill was extremely apologetic while explaining that 2 of them were training and refunded our money.

Love this place! I stop in a few times a week to get their hot/iced Americanos and occasionally lunch or dinner. The food is solid. The employees are all very kind and are quick to start up a conversation. Love the atmosphere, weather I'm getting some work done in a quiet corner, or watching music/comedy with friends on one of the weekends nights.
