Katie's Cafe - Portland

Went here one morning for breakfast. Food was OK but selection was limited and while the staff were nice, it felt rather sterile.

We were 3 people for lunch. Great vegetarian food. Kinda Rustic chic not grubby. Waiter was good and also very present when you talk to him.

This coffee shop is fine for breakfast when staying at the Modera Hotel. It is right across the street. Service is very quick and friendly.

We stayed at Hotel Modera across the street. This was a nice quiet place in the basement of the office building across the street. We had lunch and breakfast there. The quiche was amazing. Really reasonable prices. Counter service was friendly and quick. No complaints.

Unless you have a sharp eye you won't discover this little gem. In the basement of an office building but nevertheless bright and cheerful. Breakfast for $4.00, and only $2.00 for a coffee. A good way to start your day.
