Water Street Coffee Joint (portage)

The coffee here is exceptional, with a variety of beans available for the daily drip coffee, including some rare options you don't often see in coffee shops. The brewing is spot on—robust without any bitterness. They also have an impressive menu of locally made pastries, sandwiches, cookies, and small lunch and breakfast options. Everything I've tried has been delicious. While their prices are a bit higher than some other local coffee spots, the quality makes it worth it—definitely a cut above most in Kalamazoo. I'll see you bright and early in the morning; I'm already looking forward to that first steaming cup of the day!

I recently stopped by a café in town looking for a coffee, and I had a great experience! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I ordered a latte with sugar-free vanilla syrup, and it was delicious. They also had a nice selection of sandwiches, wraps, and muffins. The interior of the café was lovely and had plenty of space to enjoy your time.

The most stunning coffee shop in Portage! I just wish they had sugar-free chocolate syrup for their mochas... #FirstWorldProblems

The tea and the food are also great! They are very warm to people with food allergies. Come on!

Awesome local business. You can smell the fresh roasted coffee even from the drive thru!! Inside the smell is even better. They even have craft beer and cold drinks in the cold case. I am always down with supporting locsl businesses. I love this one. I am addicted to their iced coffee on these hot, humid summer days. And wait for it.......COFFEE CUBES!!!!! No more watered down iced coffee!!! Mind=BLOWN!!!
