Restaurant bewertenI really enjoyed Sal's. I ordered a medium Sal's Special (with added banana whips) and was really impressed by the crust that was chewing but not excessively thick. It is a miracle that they can support as many toppings as they are placed there. With this style of crust, I am honestly surprised that it has not come with a tavern cut (but that is a personal preference, not a criticism). It would have been amazingly paired with a beer and was just the kindness and comfort I needed.
We're here and the place was empty. A server and a Prep Koch. The food was fast, cheesy, and the people who worked there were friendly. Our group had a gyro (she said it was good), pizza (big slices) and spaghetti (very big part).
Great place to grab a quick slice and garlic knot. Of course you can always order a whole pie, pasta dish or salad too!
Stopped in when they opened so I was able to get a slice right out of the oven! Thin chewy crust with plenty of cheese. I had sausage and mushroom and didn't feel that they skimp on adding the toppings. Besides pizza there are salads, sandwiches, wraps, gyros and a kids menu. The is a nice seating area as well. I will return to try something else on the menu.
We ordered pizza by the slice, tried a few different variations: sausage/pepperoni, gyro, spinach...all were foldable and delicious.
