Ventnor Hotel - PORT VINCENT

My family and I had a good meal and a great night in the Ventnor. The restaurant was packed when we visited but our meals came out fairly quickly, everyone enjoyed there meals and they were quite large. Afterwards we headed to the bar where the jukebox was playing and everyone was having a great time. We will hopefully get back here one day.

A lovely holiday destination only a couple of hours from Adelaide. Or 31 nautical miles across the gulf.The standard of food is poor, the decor is poor, the ambiance poor and reminds me of the Pubs of old where it smelt like a pub. The nearest alternative pub is miles away and if you've travelled by sea you're stuck. The only good feature was the view of the bay.

Had 2 evening meals here and both were good- a good salad bar to add to your meal. was well patronised with some like us on a return visit

We found the hotel efficient with good sized meals provided quickly and they catered for my gluten free wife admirably, however their prices for wines is over the top.

Food was great. Prices fairly average for pub meals. View is lovely looking over the beach. Coloring activities for the younger kids. More options in the salad bar, it was half empty, would be my only complaint and it's a minor one.
