Blue Moose Cafe - Port Townsend

We were easily seated as a party of nine with a great view of the water. The service was prompt and friendly. My party ordered the oyster sandwich and clam chowder which was excellent. Will definitely visit again when in town.

Great selection, very close to the marina. I enjoyed a breakfast burrito at a reasonable price.

Had a great breakfast with my brother and his wife.

Overall, it was a very nice stop! I would give this place 4.5 stars, but unfortunately we cannot give half votes. It’s a popular local spot, and pretty nice. For drinks, we got water, lemonade, and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was delicious. The lemonade tasted a lot like fountain lemonade, so it was a bit disappointing to hear that they don’t offer refills for the lemonade. Food-wise, my father said the basic breakfast was exactly what he had hoped. The bacon was fantastic! The pancakes were very thick “the fluffy one” label does not lie! , so I wish I would have ordered blueberry or chocolate to help break up the thickness. However, they were still very good! The smoked salmon omelet was tasty, but my mother wished that there were less tomatoes. All of the staff were very nice, but they messed up our ticket to pay. It wasn’t a big deal hence the still very high rating , but we had to spend time sorting through their tickets to find our own. Again, they were very sweet and I wouldn’t hold it against them, but it’s something to note. Parking: A good amount of spots, but they fill up quickly. However, we were still able to find parking with little difficulty.

My family and I were in town for my brother's wedding and Blue Moose Cafe was an exceptional spot for breakfast. Over the course of the week I had their breakfast sandwich and their breakfast burrito and my husband had the biscuits and gravy multiple times! Absolutely delicious, very kind service and inside and outdoor seating were both great options!
