Restaurant bewertenDelicious mix of Asian food and a huge menu to choose from. Prices to portion size ratio is good. There are lunch specials available each day of the week. I got the Sri Lankan beef which was very spicy and it came with a choice of a variety of soup or spring roll. Another person got the sambal squid which was very authentic.Vegetarian options: Lots of options
Plenty of parking and regular customer reassurance of the same owner from before!Due to lockdown and being away from the country, been over a year since our last visit ... its a great pleasure to be back, food is as good as before. Glad that they did not change hands! Will be back for more delicious Malay delicacies!
Met our son for dinner and he recommended Kurumba. We had never even heard of the restaurant before so we had no idea of what we were getting into.Very pleasantly surprised. It looks like a family run hole in the wall restaurant. Food was excellent, a mix of Asian cuisine with a focus on south Asian food. Dinner for 5 adults cost $120 including tip.Only minor quibble was lack of staff so service was a bit slow but given how difficult it is getting hired help today it wasn't a complete surprise.I would highly recommend giving this place a try.
It was busy weekend, I wanted to eat something quick but then I went to Kurumba mixed Asian food restaurants, it was interesting to see various dishes from different places! I ordered Nasi goreng and nasi Lemak ! Crispy pomfret fish with aromatic coconut nice was so delicious! Server was very nice and casual presentation. I highly recommended if you love Asian spicy foods
You are going to be blown away by this, hold on tight to your keyboard and mouse!THIRD time visiting Kurumba, thought it is a neat place; but found out in a bad way tonight the owner Richard Sun is a big man with unfortunately a very small heart. You might go there thinking you are supporting your community business. To Richard Sun, you are NEVER his community.A party of 11 people for birthday dinner tonight. Called ahead to make reservation, and asked if we can bring a cake to eat. Waiter said okay no problem.Final bill $225 before tax and gratuity. We paid first (our mistake), then asked plates for cake. Young waiter flustered uncomfortably, and cringed his boss said the restaurant can 't serve us with their ceramic plates, and we have to buy paper plates from them ?????????After some confused exchange, Richard Sun himself hell-marched out of his kitchen, and pontificated loudly: We can 't let you eat using our restaurants ' plate because the cake leftover is very tedious to scrap off. I will have to do it myself. You can buy paper plate from us. I think this is fair .This is a light cake with fruit topping, not event a cheese cake. We were just blown away by how this MAN THINKS. Never heard such an excuse. We thought we were supporting a local business. To Richard Sun, we were just meat strapped with cash.
