Restaurant bewertenConvenient small market located in the midst of touristy prices. A refreshing escape from the usual high costs. It's a delightful spot to stop by for a refreshing drink and ice cream during the summer, without breaking the bank like at the nearby tourist stops.
This food store in Beacon Cove is much more than your average convenience store. It's the go-to spot for a refreshing cold drink or ice cream in the summer, as well as for any last-minute or emergency grocery needs. It's a convenient option for those who don't feel like driving to the main supermarket and shops in Bay Street. In addition to groceries, fruits, and vegetables, you can also pick up daily newspapers, magazines, Tattslotto tickets, Met Cards, and Phone Cards at the newsagency located inside. Surprisingly, they also offer fishing licenses and a selection of fishing supplies including tackles, bait, hooks, and sinkers. There's even a Westpac ATM located at the front of the store. While I have enjoyed a good cup of coffee here, I have yet to try their food offerings.
The restaurant has a variety of options to choose from, but as is typical with IGA Supermarkets, the prices are about 20-30% higher than Coles/Woolworths. The first hour of parking is free.
