Restaurant bewertenBest piece of fish I've had in years! We all had the hake and calamari combo with chips. Our waiter was brilliant, very efficient and full of jokes. A really pleasant experience all round.
Good mood, tables are clean and regular sanitary. Eating was just okay, chips were too oily for my lust. also fish could do with more taste. otherwise the service was fast enough and the personal friendly and explained menu with geduld.
Delicious seaweed, kalamari and chips. hake was crispy fresh and we enjoyed the spiced teig. calamari was fried to perfection fresh and crisp! chips were exactly what one would expect from a fishing business. manager very hands on as well as cleaning staff. we brought our own packaging to avoid that it is necessary to use only plastics. good value for money.
A beautiful restaurant with magnificent views of the harbour. I recommend their own handicraft beer as well as the seafood plate for 2. the calamari was the best calamari I had eaten in my life. perfectly cooked and delicate good service and great location.
Very picturesque harbor in Hout Bay, Mariner's Wharf usually draws tourists and locals with its beauty and charm. The waters here have an exquisite turquoise blue shimmering to them, the yachts and boats add an authentic and special nautical element. And the view across the bay gazes at the start of scenic Chapmans Peak drive. It has a couple of beautiful souvenir shops, restaurants and bars with outdoor seating on the decks- great views There's also a thriving fish market near the docks where fishing trawlers come in. The sea gulls are part of the charm here- for years, it has been a common sight to feed the gulls right from your hand by holding a fried potato chip up- they always come swooping in to pluck it- old tradition The wharf is well organised with a decent number of parking spaces and accessible toilets at the side of the ground floor near the stairs.
