Beach Shack - Port Douglas

Wir buchten am selben Tag am Open Table und als wir einige Stunden später ankamen, hatten sie unsere Buchung nicht. Das Mädchen war ein bisschen unhöflich, dass sie es nicht überprüft hatten, aber insgesamt war die Erfahrung gut, Sand auf dem Boden ist cool

You need to book for this very relaxed restaurant which is understandably popular - we had four different pizzas all of which were fantastic. Next time we'd skip a starter and make space for pudding as they sound great - there's so much filling on the pizzas that 3 courses was beyond us!Really friendly service.

Our family had Chicken Wings (YUM!), 2 pastas (YUM!) and a fresh salad on the side. We were extremely happy with the service provided, food was great and price was spot on.

We were staying at the Pullman and walked to the restaurant on the recommendation of the man we hired our car from in Cairns. It does recommend booking which we did and they were turning people away from the restaurant area who hadn't booked on a Tuesday night. The pizza was lovely - can recommend the Shack Special - and even my husband enjoyed his who is rather picky about his pizza. Service a friendly and attentive but relaxed. Would definitely return.

It wouldn't be a trip to Port Douglas without at least one meal at this rustic, sand floored, outside restaurant. Over the years it has been up dated with for example, bigger and better canvas shades, but it hasn't lost any of its appeal.As usual the meal was delicious and was served by a very friendly and helpful waitress, Nicole? The food was plentiful and choices good. It is very adapted to families and children who are happy to play in the sand. They have numerous high chairs. The restaurant only opens for the evening meal and you are advised to book.A shuttle bus will deliver you there then collect you for your return afterwards.
