Part of Mercure Grosvenor Hotel

We had a great stay at the Mercure Grosvenor Hotel. It is excellently located opposite the Casino and Convention centre and within walking distance to the Adelaide Oval. Lots of great restaurants and shops are very close by. The rooms were very comfortable. Reception...staff were very good polite and respectful each time we passed. While the rooms were standard, they were spacious, very comfortable and well appointed everything you need for a short stay when you are out all day exploring the city. The rooms were well priced. Most of all, I really appreciated the laundry facilities there are 2 on different floors. I was delighted to see this feature and it really is a selling point for a Hotel. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel

Best value hotel breakfast in town. In Adelaide for a conference and I know people staying at other hotels were going to the Mercure Grosvenor for breakfasts when word got out. Good value, unlimited, multiple choices. Good Work

This was a nostalgic choice. My parents brought us here in 1965 for a gracious family holiday which it was. This trip is with my partner who also last stayed here approx 50 years ago! Frankly, the other reviews scared us into thinking we'd...made a stupid choice. NOT SO. We have found everything to be in order, clean and convenient. In particular, Perlita in Reception was brilliant. She went to no end of trouble for us. Our only grumble relates to the staff members sorting a rostering issue at the restaurant desk they ignored us and were then visibly annoyed when we chose to seat ourselves. (Some things need sorting in a back office. The desk is for welcoming patrons, hopefully with grace. I finish on a high note by repeating our satisfaction with this comfy hotel.

We came here as it was close to the theatre so we had a pre evening meal here, it was very nice we shared an antipasti board and then had a meal each my husband had steak and myself the chicken it was very nice...the waitress was really nice and looked after us well, the bar staff were all friendly when we had a pre theatre drink overall a really nice evening, i would return :

The food is good, but the portions can be a bit too big. Prices are fair and the service is excellent. Perfect spot for a work lunch or a weekend getaway.
