Barbara Jean's - Ponte Vedra Beach

The first time here. Husband had Cheeseburger (here it was Bland). He liked green beans. I had cake sandwich. Needed spices. Squash casserole decent. Service excellent. Ate outside the waterfront relationship. Some pommes at the table, they were excellent.

Started with a basket of warm corn bread and rolls and a generous amount of butter. We ordered the chicken fried chicken with potato and in-law. Everything was delicious. The chicken was real breast meat with a very tasty white gravy, which went perfectly lubricated with potatoes. The claw came creamy and full of taste. Just the way Slav should taste. The service started slowly, but then moved to a surprisingly good pace. Great view of the outdoor seats watching local boat traffic is sailing.

Fantastic food and service!! Once again Griffin was unbelievable to our waiter. Win us VIP service with its usual positive setting. The strips steak and pork chops were perfectly cooked. BJs salad and dressing fantastic. Jalapeno Maisbrot from this world. Great food at great food. We'll be back.

Always try to meet Barbara Jeans while visiting my daughter and granddaughter in Ponte Vedra. The seafood is always fresh and tasty. I like the Coastal Platter, which is a crab cake, buttermilk fried shrimps and fish. Good stuff. We usually dine on the deck over the Intercoastal Waterway.

The bread selection was delicious. Our meal portion size was crazy big. Had the coastal platter and shared. Their grits are so yummy and tasty. Crab Cakes also so good. Coconut shrimp were large and so tasty good. Enjoy the pumpkin bread with butter. This place is right on water so beautiful.
