Restaurant bewertenFirst time eating here we took a medium deluxe pizza to go. Cost 30$. The lady warned us we can pay only by cash while we were waiting on the line to order. They have their ATM, so they make money of the customers taking cash. And who carries cash anymore, it is not hygienic too. The pizza box was not very strong and they staple it on three sides so it does not open, it got disformed very quickly. The pizza was mediocre, the dough was tough and in the middle it was soggy, when you hold a piece it does not hold straight and the toppings are falling down. The dine in area is small and crowded.
In my household, weekends are a sacred ritual of indulging in takeout cuisine, and a beloved haunt is Gigi Pizzeria nestled in Pointe-Claire village. Every corner of Quebec seems to have its cherished pizza haven, a place where the locals hold fervent convictions that it reigns supreme in terms of being the most delectable, the oiliest, the cheesiest, or the heartiest, among other attributes.Gigi Pizzeria transcends mere nourishment; it encapsulates the essence of comfort food, a testament to their genuine care, and an emblematic ode to the enduring appeal of the quintessential classic pizza. Each bite unravels a symphony of gooey cheese strands that meld seamlessly with hearty, meat-laden toppings, a stark departure from the flimsy, featherweight boxes that typify other pizzerias. Bringing home a Gigi pizza is akin to bringing home a complete culinary experience, leaving no room for hunger and ensuring a delightful encore with leftovers that retain their delectable allure, even the day after.Such is the magic of this pizzeria that whenever I entertain friends visiting from the United States, a trip to Gigi’s is non-negotiable. They’ve never before experienced submarine sandwiches, pizzas, or poutines quite like those served at Gigi’s. These dishes become a veritable gastronomic embassy, representing the quintessential flavor of Montreal pizza. In the grand hierarchy of Montreal’s pizza offerings, Gigi’s proudly sits at the apex, embodying the pinnacle of pizza excellence in the city.My commitment to this gastronomic haven knows no bounds. I willingly embark on a journey that spans the entire length of the island, traversing from one end to the other, solely for the purpose of acquiring Gigi’s exceptional pizza. Such is the allure of this culinary gem that even the distance cannot deter my family from savoring its exquisite flavors. @mtlrestorap
Pizza is overpriced and was quite soggy. I found a pepperoni on the crust of one of the slices, however I ordered a vegetarian. I would this place is not worth buying pizza from anymore. I have visited this place in the past, and their quality has definitely gone down.
I started coming here recently on my lunch breaks and I must say, I have been very satisfied. Last week was the first time I tried their poutine and I sat down by the water to eat it and it genuinely made me so happy. That meal really brought me joy on an otherwise miserable work day. I know that sounds stupid, but it's true. It's one of the best poutines I've ever had. Subs are also great. My one and only gripe is the fact that they only take cash. I hate to complain, but it is a personal inconvenience for me as I almost never have any cash on me. I will say that I do appreciate them having an ATM right in the store!
This is a small privately owned pizza shop serving up Montreal style pizza. The service is great and the server(s) are very polite and friendly. We had a medium Deluxe which is an all dressed pizza with bacon and onions. The crust is airy with crisp edges. Really good.Been coming here for years and definitely recommend this pizzeria.Parking: Not a lot of spots and when it is full it is hard to maneuver. Located behind the restaurant.
