Wilphy's Sandwich - Plymouth

The title says it all. This restaurant embodies the essence of local businesses, and I will personally choose to support them over chain restaurants because their quality and service are exceptional.

I discovered Wilphy's by chance and now it's the only place I want to go. The greeting is always warm and the portions are generous for the price, not to mention that the food is consistently fresh. I encourage others to support local businesses like this one.

I stopped by today to pick up some takeaway food. The food and service are always top-notch, and I am a regular customer whenever I am working in the area.

It wouldn’t make this one as is never open!! Visited the shop three times and all three times it was closed with a sign in the window saying at a trade fair!! Could be the best sandwiches in the world but no one would ever know!

Went to Wilphy's for a quick sandwich for the first time. Ordered my food, line of 5-6 people behind me, all got their food before me. I only ordered a Panini. After being sat for 10 minutes waiting, the staff then proceeded to ask me again what my order was and then began to cook it. The staff seemed reluctant in all stages of service and were not very welcoming. Finally upon receiving my food the bacon was burnt which completely detracted from the meal as a whole. Would not recommend. Over-priced and not good value for money.
