New Tokyo Japanese - Plymouth

My brother and I have been coming here for years. Every hibachi chef we've had have been awesome! We particularly like the chef with the Sonic the Hedgehog belt buckle (sorry I can't recall his name). He's the best!The miso soup is bomb, the salad is delicious, and you get pretty decent portion sizes from the hibachi. The sushi is always fresh, too!I've tried almost every sake drink and I love the Mai Tais. You should too!We came here recently for my birthday and it wasn't a disappointment. The chef could've been a little better, but he could've been new so I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt. He also kept saying Happy Birthday, which was really nice. At the end of dinner, the waitresses came out banging the gong and sang me Happy Birthday, then gave me deep fried ice cream. It was awesome!I highly recommend this place! You won't regret it!!

We stopped here for a late lunch. The food was ok, fast service was appreciated, but really just average in general. I think the sushi chef wasn't in, as the one raw fish dish we ordered had no presentation. Also, the miso soup was just warm water, avoid it. Cleanliness was average, but they did space out the few tables that were there for safety.

I came across this wonderful restaurant this past summer. I visited again to celebrate a birthday dinner, even in the areas off season everyone here has kept the same standards and wonderful attitude. This place is amazing, and has a large selection to choose from. One of the major things that stands out to me is the prices compared to some other places that offer similar items this place has their price point right on the dot. If I could I would give 10/10 stars!!! I will be back in the near future!

I've been going here for years for my birthdays at the hibachi table. Of course the chefs repeat the same little show everytime, but you get used to it. The food is always unbelievable straight of the skillet from the chef, I always loved it

Great atmosphere, the personal was super amenable. faster service, sushi was fresh and perfectly prepared. we're safe back.
