Restaurant bewertenLovely hotel, well situated for the Yumbo centre. Close to bus stop for the airport. Rooms were clean with a fridge, AC, comfy beds and nice balcony. Pool area great with plenty of loungers, umbrellas and a nice big pool. Breakfast and evening buffet varied and tasty. Staff really helpful and friendly. Laid back vibe … would recommend for a relaxing stay.
Lovely hotel, well situated for local bars and restaurants, and close to Yumbo Centre. The staff are brilliant, and hotel is beautifully presented. The room that we stayed in, was a bit tired, however (room 63). The two single beds didn't connect together, there was no tea/coffee making facilities and the balcony area looked out onto an area heavily littered with cigarette ends, which wasn't cleaned during our stay. There was a small fridge in the room, as well as air conditioning, both were ideal. All staff however were exceptional throughout our stay. A big thank you to Stephanie especially, who helped us with a last minute issue with our safe! I would recommend this hotel, but would like to see a kettle at least for our next visit.
The rooms are a good standard clean... The restaurant is lower ground, has two outside eating areas, the food is good and plenty of choices... From the catering staff to the domestic staff, there's nothing I can fault, very friendly and helpful... Would say the hotel has a good, friendly vibe... Totally recommend it...
We enjoyed our stay at Don Miguel. The rooms were clean, the pool was pleasant, the staff were nice. Breakfast was great! I do recommend coming. My only recommendations to the hotel are as follows: I felt no incentive to eat or drink at the pool bar. It was far more expensive than any of the surrounding bars and no better. Why was there a 50% plus markup? The evening entertainment was dated. There was nothing wrong with the DJ, but frankly, most people on holiday have access to their Spotify account while abroad. The cost of the DJ would have been better spent on an extended pool opening time. It was warm well into the evenings during early may. It's really not that the DJ was bad, it was just jukeboxes would have been equally as entertaining. There was only one night with worthwhile entertainment to encourage us to stay, which was flamenco Actually trying to obtain any kind of calendar for entertainment was non existent. We were forced to just go look The only personal complaint was the hotel was half empty. In the hotel, only around 30 rooms out of ~500 rooms get no sun at all during any point of the day. We were given one of these rooms. This was just a little disappointing. There may be room upgrades however I refuse to believe all 470 rooms were taken up. I would have understood in the height of summer, but it was off season. This all being said, I would recommend staying here, especially at the rate we got, there's just a few items to iron out that had we paid standard rates would have really left a sour taste in our mouths.
Fuming. Had a expensive speaker in the room, forgot to put it in the safe as we left. Came back and it was gone. Only people who went in as confirmed by the cameras was the cleaners. Do not leave valuables out; even in your hotel room which you pay to stay in. You can’t expect privacy round here!
