Restaurant bewertenI enjoy having lunch at Panera, but I decided to try their breakfast this morning. It was definitely not worth it! I ordered the bacon, egg over easy, and cheese sandwich on brioche for $6.19. The over easy egg was actually sunny side up and still slimy. The bacon was pre-cooked and not very good quality. My sandwich mostly consisted of slimy egg and bread. On a positive note, I did enjoy the cinnamon crunch latte. However, I finished my 450 calorie sandwich in 2 minutes and I am still hungry.
The restaurant is clean and the staff are pretty friendly. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because they skimp on the amount of cheese in their French onion soup.
The quick pick-up service at this restaurant is a disappointment. You place your order only to arrive and find that your food is being prepared as you wait. The asiago bagels are overcooked to the point where the cheese is burnt and the bagel is too hard to enjoy. The front of house is understaffed with only one person working while others are seen chatting in the back. Another employee is making themselves coffee at the bar instead of helping out. If possible, I recommend going to the Lakeland location instead of the Plant City one.
I had the worst experience ever a plant city Panera! First the food was way to expensive! And I had to wait for the employees to take my order due to the fact they are talking with each other in the back! Plus only two people on the cooking station due tothe manager having one of them follow them around, how are they suppose to get orders out on time with only two people! I?m notsure what the mangers name was but she needs to get her stuff together!
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at this restaurant. The broccoli and cheese soup, chicken sandwich, and Blueberry muffin were all delicious. While I found the meal to be a bit pricey, I was impressed with the friendly staff and overall good service.
