Florentina's Italian Bistro - Plano

Fantastic food and outstanding service! The owner is a wonderful person who is very hands-on. I ordered the Lobster Ravioli with Lobster sauce, and it was incredible! I highly recommend this local gem. Food rating: 5/5.

The chicken piccata tastes good and is a good portion size. Not the best I've ever had but it's good. The White pizza is even better. Perfect balance of ricotta, cheese, and crust. I just tried another restaurant recently and it wasn't anywhere near as good as they aren't careful to put a nice thick consistent layer of ricotta, so theirs was super dry and lacking in flavor or consistency and tasted more like boring dry flatbread with no cheesiness at all, barely any cheese. Florentina's is the opposite of that and it's always consistent in the balance of ingredients, and is cheesy, not mostly dry and flavorless. The crust is not thin crust but close to itAs it's in btwn thin crust and regular crust. It works well with the white pizza. They add basil and tomatoes as requested and this makes it even better.

Frozen pizza tastes and looks better. Wanted to give this place a try. Ordered a 16 inch pepperoni add bacon. Lady on the phone doesn't tell me they don't have bacon and they add Canadian bacon. When I receive my pizza I notice the amount of toppings is ridiculous. I paid extra to have bacon that turned out to be Canadian bacon (ham) and instead of them putting regular pepperoni and adding this bacon they put less pepperoni to add Canadian bacon. Also as you will see in picture barely any cheese. Ridiculous. Almost $19 for this measly looking pizza. Never will I return. Oh yes sauce is good but doesn't make up.
