Hot Dog Ranch - Pittsfield

We sat on the outdoor terrace for a late lunch. Picnic tables were available, but many customers. A good sign! It was a perfect day to sit outside. Our fried fish sandwiches were a generous size and delicious. The tartaric acid sauce had a hint of estragon; very good. The pommes were slightly seasoned and salted, which I hoped. Perfectly crunchy pimples were a perfect companion. We had a great waitress. Our lunches were served quickly.

Hot dogs were amazing as usual. Service was also great. Must stay here every time I get back to the Pitts!

Delicious, no hairs. I have a hot dog and fried chicken sandwich. The food came out quickly and piping hot. The hot dog is a mini hot dog with a glorious snap to the case. Absolutely delicious with mustard and onion, but almost lost in the role. Next time I get a level so I can just taste the hot dog myself. The chicken sandwich did not come with blows, so I had to order it with LTO and Mayo. Very crispy, but not burned or dry. Was able to eat for under $10. Will be back for a fast, inexpensive and delicious meal.

We try to sit on the bar. they have great bartenders. they have a very diversified menu and it is not expensive. we love going to drink a drink, eating a bit and playing keno. the ranch is loaded with locals, it is not a tourist trap.

I found this joint on Google maps and originally came because I thought the name was hilarious. I fully expected this to be a hot dog stand but it was sooooo much more. I essentially showed up ironically and then proceeded to have one of the best meals I’ve had in Massachusetts!
