Restaurant bewertenWe enjoy coming to this restaurant for drinks and sushi when we are in town. The sushi is top-notch and they offer a wide variety of cocktails and liquor options. I was hesitant at first to try the sushi, but it exceeded my expectations. The service has always been excellent and we always have a pleasant experience here. Today, we drove into the city to try their brunch for the first time. Unfortunately, the sushi chef was absent, but the food we did order was delicious. We will definitely be returning in the future!
I visited this bar for the first time last night before a show. As soon as you walk in, it has a dive bar vibe. However, they have a wide selection of whisky, scotch, and bourbon, as well as a decent variety of wine, beer, and cocktails. The food menu is limited and a bit pricey - $16 for wings seems steep to me. We tried the pot stickers ($8) and the burrata ($14). The pot stickers were good but a bit expensive at $2 each (you get four in an order). The burrata was delicious, served with grilled baby vidalia onions, cherry tomatoes, balsamic vinegar glaze, scallions, and grilled French bread. I would personally skip the scallions and add fresh basil. The service was prompt and attentive (thanks, Joshua T), and I appreciate that they still bring paper checks to sign instead of those Clover machines. My only complaints are the lack of physical menus - I prefer not to use my phone when out with friends - and the noise level when it gets busy, making it hard to have a conversation. Despite this, I would recommend checking out this bar. In my opinion, it's worth a visit.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The bartenders were fantastic, making delicious drinks and engaging in easy conversation. The food was exceptional overall, with a particular recommendation for the chicken katsu sandwich and sweet potato tots. In fact, the chicken sandwich may be one of the best I've ever had. Surprisingly, they also serve fresh sushi at the bar. Definitely worth checking out this place.
Nice portions, very good breakfast food. **** Mary is crafted in house and very good, on the sweet side
I drink whiskey so it's a good sign when there is a whole menu just for the whiskey offerings! I'm also a fan of their sushi and shareable bites. I recognize most of the songs on their playlist. The crowd on the Saturday night we were there, was mostly 30+. There's a mix of seating options. Inside there are bar stools that snake long the bar, then high top tables, and booths for groups by the windows. Outside in September there is both wind-protected covered seating and open air seating. By 10 o'clock all the seats were filled and it started emptying out about midnight. You can usually find nearby street parking. It's a lively bar downtown without any of the craziness.
