Restaurant bewertenMy local go to . I love this place. Be careful with the spice...
Worst spicy food that give opposite of what menu say Symbol of and I didnt get any spicy. I more do Asian that grew up eating chili peppers in Singapore and my favorite food is Nasi lemak
This is the absolute worst place to eat in the entire city of Pittsburgh. As you can see I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken and was rendered the driest most disgusting chicken I have ever seen for $16.04. This is not batter dipped chicken, these are literally dried chicken nuggets. I called to complain and the manager told me NOONE HAS EVER COMPLAINED (SO SHE DOESNT CARE) and hung up the phone. The ambiance was horrible and there was foul odor in the restaurant. PLEASE DONT EAT HERE AND WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.
So I have to say that I loved the food at Sichuan Gourmet, but the wait for the food was ridiculous. (One hour) People that came in after us were served before us, and we were served before people that were there before us. I'm sure there was a reason as the server was constantly apologizing and it WAS Christmas day. I had the sweet and sour chicken and my wife had the amazing crispy chicken. We both thought that the meals were out of this world and the best Chinese food we have found. Especially the spring rolls. We would definitely go there again, but order for pick up!
Great food and prices were reasonable. The service was less than ideal though... It took them an hour and a half to get the order in because they forgot it and then went back on their word to strike it from the bill. Food was delicious and I'd highly recommend it, but they need to work on they customer service. Things happen and I get it, but needing to wait for your food after everyone else at the table has already finished eating, and then saying you'll strike it from the bill only to backtrack a few minutes later isn't acceptable!
