Restaurant bewertenI tried their cannoli, apple dumpling, mango cheesecake bomb, and the reason for my review – the Italian cupcake! Before this experience, I never really understood the fascination with cupcakes. After all, they are just small cakes with some icing. I thought there was no way a cupcake's flavor could impress me, but this one changed my mind! It featured a lovely buttery walnut/pecan pound cake filled with rich egg custard (the kind you’d find in a fruit tart) and topped with cream cheese icing (not the overly sweet kind; it genuinely tasted like cheesecake on top of a buttery pound cake!). The addition of walnuts and shredded coconut on top was a delightful touch. For the first time, I can truly say that the typically high price of cupcakes is justified—this one is worth even more! I need to get my hands on that recipe, as well as their cannoli recipe! As a side note, I wasn't as impressed with their tiramisu and bear claw; it’s not that they were bad, but the other desserts were just so outstanding! Just a reference point if you’re trying to choose between several options, as I often find myself doing.
The pizza was quite disappointing, resembling undercooked frozen pizza that you might microwave.
The restaurant had great service, and although I really miss the soup, pasta, and beans, I enjoyed my experience there.
Pizza was precooked, over heated, crust hard, no sauce, too much cheese that had no taste was pfefferoni hard. pizza je! worst!
