Restaurant bewertenReview for only one restaurant: we were guests at the nearby farm lambure. the owners seem the day and the night: the lady, really sunny, cheerful, helpful; the owner, a giant crushed and serious, all intent on the kitchen and small trin lace rash in Tuscany is said made with acceptance and finished with the pencil to define a style like this: On the other hand, they do everything alone or almost, so they run. Don't break the boxes with speeches or stupid questions. all this also reflects on food: rustic, simple, almost poor and frightened in the presentation, but rich in substance. basic dishes, super meat, linear sweets: There's no trick, no makeup! here you get to eat solid and drink fantastic red wine house) with a good value quality price. right portions, waiting time proportional to the present people. besides having a large space, the chestnut bridge, the beach, very close there is also the lolle farm, perfect for those with children and wants to have fun in the right environment, or wants to swallow cheeses.
We were hiking in the neighbourhood and accidently ended up here having a wonderful lunch! I would definately recommend this to everyone who likes pure and fresh food. Service was very friendly, location game right out of a fairy tale. If you would plan this on your hike, make sure to bring your swim suit so you can cool down in the river!
Simple fixed menu of what is grown on their farm and what is in season. 4 course with wine/ drinks for €22 each. One sitting for lunch at around 13:00 another for dinner. Food is simple but very tasty, arrive hungry! lovely setting by the river and the old bridge, nice to sit outside and enjoy the views. Parking nearby in Popiglio and then steep walk down, or drive around via Pianteglio/Palaverdi to take the back road down to parking very near the bistrio. Bring cash as I suspect they don't take cards, there is a cash point in Popiglio.
I have eaten here once and am unlikely to return. Menu is always the same it appears. Two of the meat dishes I had were far too salty [which I told the owner about]. Wines just so so. Location is nice of course, certainly if one likes hiking.
