Po-boy Express - Pineville

We arrived at the restaurant just before closing time last night, which is typically not ideal for most establishments. However, the staff were welcoming and accommodating. The shrimp Po-boy was delicious and I enjoyed it so much that I plan to return at 10AM this morning when they open to have another one.

I really enjoy the BOGO special on Wednesdays and Fridays at this restaurant. Although I don't mind paying extra, I have noticed that the portion sizes have decreased. The fish used to be in nice, large pieces, but now they are smaller. There are also not as many French fries as before. However, the quality of the fish, shrimp, and fries is still very good. The hushpuppies are consistently overcooked and not enjoyable. The tartar sauce is also not very good. Despite these issues, I have never had a bad poboy from this place - they are always delicious!

The man who took our order was extremely kind and polite. Our food arrived promptly and was fresh and hot. The poboy breads tasted fresh but could have been softer. Overall, the dining experience was excellent and the dining area was very clean and organized.

Great place, but it is heavily over-priced. Straight to the point as a Karen, 2 sandwiches for $30. No thanks. I can make 2 pbj sandwiches for under $5. Edit: PBJ sandwiches are commonly too convenient for anyone to make--considering you guys provide onlyquality ingredients. 10.98 for a PBJ sandwich if you were to provide one--no thanks. #HonestKaren

I was passing threw central Lousiana on a Business Trip that was in New Orleans and I?m actually very happy I stumbled upon this local southern gem, I was greeted by a sharp young man that spoke highly of the oyster poboy and being a city boy i never reallyhad the chance to indulge in Cajun seafood and all I can say is that was eating it in awe LOL?? Im a big believer of commendingthose who do great and im happy to say that I?ll be stopping by on my way back home to Texas Shoutout to the manager as hiscomments brightened my day
