Restaurant bewertenBasically no taste, my tastes are extremely sensitive now that I am pregnant and that gave me nothing to taste. Not only that, but there was hardly any meat in the Burritos it was usually tortilla and watery sauce. I was very disappointed that this is considered the best place in Phoenix for green Chile. I am so sad that I have a green Chile Burrito and with rice and beans and an enchilada style red Chile Burrito and it was 30$!!! Too expensive for me. I'm over these small restaurants with great money for a small amount of food. I wanted to be able to enjoy my food when I have the money to enjoy it, but I was wrong.
Really this is what everyone raves about. 3 way enchilada style was definitely not worth the price. Found 6 pieces of what looked like meat but was just fat. Red Chile sauce was bland. The salsa was horrible, pretty much taste like tomato juice. Nothing is spicy or very flavorful. Burrito side of guacamole, side of sour cream and chips over 20 bucks. 2 stars because kid at the register was friendly and helpful How does this place have good reviews. 24hrs later I?ve been on the toilet all day. I have a iron stomach and this is horrible. It?s like I?m prepping for a colonoscopy.
Any native born Arizonans who knows their Mexican/Chile cuisine would recognize that this is an excellent restaurant. Could not recommend more delicious. Summer visitors beware that there is a lack of indoor seating (only outdoors) but the food was so good I didn?t care! I got the burrito and it is exactly what o crave when I visit home.
Very good! Little bit of a wait on a Saturday afternoon, but not bad. (They do take credit and debit cards now. We got the green chili burrito and chicken enchilada.
I?ve been coming here since 1985. I used to live a few streets north of here, and didn?t even know about it until a friend told me. I haven?t been here for at least 10 years, but they still deliver on great food. Their corn green enchiladas are the best I?ve ever had. I decided to put in a big online order, and sample a few different things. Got an enchilada style green burro, 3 big green chile enchiladas, chips, green chili burrito and some shredded beef tacos with rice and beans. They don?t have a huge menu here. It?s not cheap, and at $4.50 for each tacos, I?d probably skip those next time. Their green chili sauce is definitely the best.
