Restaurant bewertenOn a recent trip to the Catskills, finding a restuarant with decent hours was tough. Sportsmans Alamo Cantina was open late, had 22 beers on draft, an extensive menu (I loved my pulled pork burrito! and the dessert case was stocked with amazing options. Quite a few TVs behind the bar and the service was very nice. I have Verizon cell service and the town is has no reception, so I was happy that the Wi-Fi in the restaurant was strong
Only for a few beers came, but the bartender was in the end and they had a decent design choice. 10/10 solid wooden stick would sit there again.
Good food and beer. Great servers. Didn't enjoy the pigeons on the patio though.
After exploring on the Rail Explorers, my husband and I decided on coming to the Alamo for lunch. I don?t understand the positive reviews bc I ordered chicken fajitas with rice and beans and the chicken was flavorless and dry. The beans had an odd taste like they were old. The rice was bland and texture was not right. Hubby ordered a chicken quesadilla and he got a vegan quesadilla which was cold. I can keep on adding to this review but I?ll just leave it alone. Hence, I will not be visiting again.
Great food, humongous portions, friendly and super efficient service. Nice ambiance overall. What else one needs? Great selection of local beers : Definitely will come again.
