Pepper Tree - Phnom Penh

Many of the Riverside places are "equal" and in this respect Pepper Tree is not so different. It is a relaxed, casual friendly staff. Decor is interesting with some local wall paintings on the walls and the usual Rattan furniture. Good selection of western and Asian favorites, plus an Indian menu also. Ordnete seafood Jalfrazi with garlic Naan along with some 75c beers, all tasty and all in all good value and worth a visit...

Meat is good and price is reasonable, just near to the river. Waiters are nice and helpful

Great food. The portion size was great for the price. The staff was friendly and efficient. Taste was great and ingredients were very fresh. Pumpkin soup is a simple dish to make and you can say when a place uses a good stock and has properly boiled its onion to make the base... this place nails it. If you have a nice meal for a very reasonable price head here and watch the life pass past outside as you return to the beautifully decorated restaurant.
