L'angolo - Philadelphia

I've eaten in a lot of places in Philly but this restaurant is at the top of my list. Good, honest food. The staff was attentive even on a busy weekend. I recommend any grilled seafood dish. My friend had pasta with seafood and it was perfectly cooked and very rich. Im looking forward to going again

I don't live particularly close to L'Angolo anymore but I try to get there any time I can. My husband and I had our first date here and it's where he proposed, so obviously I have a sentimental attachment, but even if that wasn't the case I would still love this place. The restaurant is small but has a lovely atmosphere and the staff is wonderful. But most importantly, the food is great! They make some of the best gnocchi I've had and everything I've tried has been delicious. It's BYOB too, which is convenient.

Everything a South Philly neighborhood italian restaurant should be. Small, busy, excellent food, outstanding service. Bravo !

AMAZING FOOD. no nonsense Italian. Very neighborhood chill homey vibe, BYOB, amazing service. Seriously the best gnocchi cream sauce I’ve had in my life. Duck paperdelle was incredible also. They have some really good specials too

It was the first time dining at L’Angolo in quite a while. The entrance area through the kitchen could definitely use a freshening up, but fortunately the food remains very good. 2 appetizers, 3 pasta dishes and 1 dessert and all were delicious. The prices are fair, the portions are a nice size and the service is good. Will be happy to return.
