Restaurant bewertenGreat selection of Malay dishes. prices are decent, though i wish the quantity of each dish was a little more. its actually quite a big place too, so definitely good for groups.
Good prices. Variety of Asian food, mainly Malaysian and Thai selection. Suitable for Muslims. Good location Town Hall stop for Red Cat Bus. Payments can be in cash or credit cards.
Food is pretty good. Halal option for Muslim friends. Very accommodating staff and we're really pleasant. Decor could do with an update. But otherwise definitely recommend for a quick meal or even takeaway/Uber eats.
Sadly very poor takes on Malaysian food, the beef rendang was a dry stirfry served on wet lettuce instead of a stew and the nasi lemak came with very dry little chunks of chicken, although the sambal was quite good.
I went to this restaurant for lunch today, it was my first time visiting. My first impression was that the place looked run-down and it took a while to place my order. The drinks took even longer to arrive and the food took half an hour to come out. Unfortunately, my chicken curry was still raw and the roti chanai was very oily. I was disappointed with the service at D'Ankasa and felt that the place was understaffed. Additionally, the prices were not cheap. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be going back again.
