Lombard House - Penzance

We went there for 4 nights just 2 of us but we got a family room which is spacious and have a really stunning sea view from our window and also in bathroom. The room and all area are super clean and tidy. Jubilee pool is just opposite side from guesthouse with a short 2 minutes walk. Very close to city centre and everything you need in a short distance, so convenient .

Well-kept hotel. The room we were in was very clean. The owners of the hotel were very polite and very helpful when I was choosing the beach with my family where we had a great time. If you want to spend a great family time, choose this hotel because the owner is a lovely family.

I booked and paid for the 3 nights as l also saw on the google page that it was free parking and free breakfast. I then put in the comments my dietry requirements. I was then emailed by Phil that they dont offer free breakfast and cant help with my dietry requirements, however on the page it said it did so took a screen shot and sent it to him. Phil apologised which was fine but then automatically cancelled my room without asking me first. I was a bit shocked as the money was taken from my account instantly but now l have to wait 5 working days to get the money back. I did ask about any local cafes but phils cusomer service stopped there. I found a place called zebra crossing which he could have mentioned. I was going to re book but l felt there would have been an atmosphere when l turned up and its annoyed me how quickly this booking was cancelled, without asking if l was happy to keep the booking. Maybe offered a few cafe options near by would have been decent. I would have been fine with that.
