Restaurant bewertenA friend recommended this place. I loved my chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. The chicken was tender and sauce was very delicious. I am thrilled that I have found fantastic Indian food so close and we will repeat customers in the near future. Our server, Gita, could not be sweeter. Excellent experience!
Good is on site every time! Service is friendly and accommodating. It's honestly my favorite Indian restaurant in the area. I'm going for almost 25 minutes and I'm going for 4 more Indian restaurants to go here.
Despite its unappealing exterior, the menu and its service makes up for it. Out of the four Indian restaurants I have eaten at in Pensacola (each with their own pros and cons), Dinner India is by far the best. The food was exquisite and really stuck to my taste buds. I had a Chicken Tikka Masala (I always have it). Compared to places like a Taste of India downtown or Spirits down the road, Dinner India stays true to its authenticity. The masala had a creamy texture that melted in my mouth and had a different tangy, spice to it than competitors. The chicken was tender and easy to cut through with a butter knife; and the rice was very soft. Unlike a couple others where it's clumped up or hard/ raw still. I have always kept away from Dinner India because it looks empty or unappealing on the outside. But we should never judge a book by its cover because the food really makes up for everything. Very polite staff and I didn't have to wait long for my food (7 minutes). I highly recommend Dinner India!
My wife and I have had their food three times now. Each time it has been better than the last. We finally ate inside this last time and they have a wonderful restaurant that is vibrantly colored and cozy. The samosas are excellent, as are the pakora for appetizers. I very much enjoy the lamb vindaloo. A word of warning though. When it says spicy they are not playing around. Just an amazing restaurant with excellent food.
The high reviews for this place are well earned. The exterior is unassuming, but the food is some of the best Indian food I've had to date, Pensacola area or otherwise. The wait was not bad, and each dish came out steaming hot and tasted super fresh. Other Indian food restaurants I've been to taste both bland and super processed in comparison to this place. I know it may not look like a place you want to risk from the building, but please give them a chance, you won't regret it!
