Gelato Messina - Penrith

Messina is a regular hunt of ours at this point, and while it doesn't have as many vegan offerings as there could be, it's still a nice place to drop by. Perfect on a hot summer day, the gelato is refreshing and ice cold, but the limited number of vegan flavors puts a bit of a damper on the experience. If you're not overly fond of fruity flavors (and of course, generic chocolate), you might give this one a miss. However, on the off-believe you can manage to come up with a vegan special in a day, there are some delicious treats to be had. The staff can also really make or miss. Delicious Asian-inspired vegan options like the pandan coconut and the salted coconut and mango sassa flavors. The cones are also completely vegan.

Love the clear and easy display of vegan gelatos avilabale. I had the vegan choc gelato and whilst it was a tad watery, it was still amazing and would def be back to buy. Really enjoyed the fancy ambience and atmosphere of shop. Only downside was that the seating was not overly inviting but still, a beautiful gelato shop!

Coconut pandan is the best flavour and vegan! Chocolate, coconut and mango salsa, lemon, mango and strawberry are all vegan also

More vegan choices than I expected (about 6 the two coconut flavors are some of the best I've had. Friend loves the passion fruit, quite bitter for me but tastes just like the fruit.
