Restaurant bewertenThis local joint has been around for a long time. Their food is amazing. I've seen it close and reopen many times. I hope they are here to stay.
I walked in around 11:30 yesterday and ordered a sandwich for my husband and the daily pasta for myself. The food smelled so good. There was a woman working a grill by the front counter, the girl taking orders and money at the cash register and then the people I could hear in the kitchen. After I placed my order I took a “to go” menu and looked it over thinking I will def be back since it smelled wonderful (this was my first time here). One guy came in next and ordered, then a couple pick up orders that had been called in were picked up. Then another man came in and placed his order followed by two men together who placed orders. About 10 minutes passed and the first guy behind me is handed his order and he leaves. Then the second guy is handed his order and he leaves. So, I ask the girl taking our orders if she would check on my order since those guys came in after me. She looked at me with a confused look on her face and stated they had ordered ahead of time and just picked up. I said, no, I stood here and watched them place their orders. Then the two guys together receive their orders and they sat down to eat. The cashier goes back into the kitchen. I have now been waiting about 25 minutes for my order. A woman comes out of the kitchen and says to me, the reason your order isn’t ready is because I forgot to put the Italian sausage on it and rather than serving you raw sausage I thought I better cook it!! I said I wish someone would have explained that to me instead of me just waiting here this long and she said I am explaining it to you right now and I’m apologizing right now. I wanted to say the only reason you are explaining anything to me is because I ask for someone to check on my order but I didn’t say that and I had not raised my voice or acted mad but I did say, well I ordered the daily pasta special thinking it would be practically ready. She said we cook everything fresh as it’s ordered so I then asked if that means my husband’s sandwich had been sitting there for all this time and the cashier all but said yes with her eyes. I said this is my first time here and I don’t think I will be back. The woman cooking on the grill right by the front counter actually said GOOD in a loud enough voice we all heard her. I then said to the cashier I would like my money back and she promptly gave it to me. The fact that a business can be so arrogant as to say GOOD that you won’t be returning because of their screw up just shocked me and I definitely will not support this business in anyway. I also will point out that the woman working the front grill also answered the phone once with her gloved hand. The same phone the cashier had been using while handling money. She then picked up slices of cheese with that gloved hand and put on the steak she was grilling. She also coughed twice over the food without covering her mouth. Another reason not to return to this business and no, I’m not saying this because of what she said to me. I’m saying it because I watched her do this.
First time eating here. Ate the Italian steak and cheese sandwich. The young lady working said this was the most sold item. The service was fast. The food was hot and very flavorful. I plan to return and try other choices.
Went there recently and had great customer service and great food too! The Italian steak with cheese is my recommendation.
First time eating here, ordered over the phone via the online menu. When I picked up everything cost almost double. When I asked the girl about pricing I just got yeah sorry online pricing is not accurate If I didn 't have hungry kids waiting in the car I would 've told them to keep the food and went elsewhere. Food was good but the online pricing needs updated. Probably won 't be coming back here again.
