Merle's American Tavern - Peculiar

I usually hold my reviews up to several visits. I have to say that this place is not disappointed. Stuffed Jalapeños, Stuffed Mushrooms, Chili cheeses, burgers, sandwiches were all excellent. They also have the best pommes in all KC. Clean bathroom for boating:

Salads are amazing, appetizers are great, service is top drawer, fun setting place. Beer is good and cold

Love the live bands on the terrace. The food is great and so was the service. Try the fish Tacos .

I've tried several items in the menu and they're all tasty and portion size has always filled me when I go. Shrimp tacos aare my fav now!

Went the first Sunday they were open. Had a limited Sunday menu but it was great!!! Not super crowded at the time, food was delicious and served quickly. Seems like a fun place to hang out and always seem to have a different food and drink special of the day.
