Restaurant bewertenWe had attentive service and the food was good. Portion size was almost surprisingly large. They had good choices for non meat eaters but few choices for protein other than red meat. As long as you understand their focus is as a steak house, you won’t be disappointed.
Salmon was over cooked. Service was ok, not great. More importantly, greatly offensive to see water service out of multiple small plastic water bottles. Aware of the co-ownership of Fiji water, but really horrible to see such disregard for the planet.
A civilized place for a steak, with good service. But our food was patchy very good filet, but chewy sirloin and gristly ribs. Vegetable sides were mushy, not crisp. Limited choice of wines, although since they are Justin and Landmark they are very good. Don't come if you're not a beef buff (4 out of 5 mains were steak) or if you want a lively atmosphere (it's dead after 9 pm, while next door remains packed and hopping).
This was my 3rd visit to JUSTIN Downtown, and my first visit for dinner with the new “Steakhouse” menu. It did not disappoint. My filet was cooked to a perfect medium rare; which is a requirement of any quality steakhouse. Sides were delicious and shareable, and the wine selection is JUST PERFECT. If you haven’t been, JUSTIN Downtown is a sleek and modern tasting room. The back half of is turned into an intimate steakhouse after 5pm, which keeps its wine tasting vibes as the front portion is still lively. Service is great, which is something JUSTIN focuses on here and at the Vineyard. Wine tasting and restaurants are an experience, and rely heavily on its staff to make it enjoyable. Megan was a star, providing a balance of conversation and service. The rest of the staff was equally attentive.
First time at the downtown location. It was a perfect way to spend the afternoon in Paso. Food and wine were delicious!!
