Restaurant bewertenFood is authentic! Love the cheese and zaatar flat breads!
This is a family-run business that puts a lot of love and care into their dishes. Our hostess was so attentive and considerate. She even offered our sister, who stopped by just to visit, a cup of water and extra set of dinnerware. The covered patio is charming and combines the best of outdoor seating and natural lighting. We tried:-Fattoush salad: super refreshing because of the pomegranate molasses; toasted pita was delightfully paper-thin -Fried cheese rolls: herbaceous filling with flavorful spices; definitely something to share with the table (or not hehe -Foul: comforting, earthy, plump fava bean stew; served with olives, onions, tomatoes, and mint; the mint makes a world of a difference-Garlic Chicken Pressed Sandwich: subtle flavor profile, needed a little more flavor for our liking (might ask for extra garlic next time but inside perfectly toasted bread (without being greasy!! ; served with the best shoestring French fries -Montee (baked : cute little beef meatballs in a crispy dumpling wrapper, served with robust tomato sauce and garlic/sumac yogurt; my first time trying this dish that set a high standard for everyone else haha
This was a great local find for some Mediterranean food. Everything was very well spiced. Our favorite was the mutubal (eggplant dip)
The food is n8ce and unique. A lot of Armenian/Turkish/Syrian foods here cannot be found in a regular Mediterranean restaurant. They don't have indoor sitting. The service is nice.
Very different than my first time in today 's visit. I was extremely dissatisfied in the service today. The only waitress for a Friday night was not sufficient. She was rushed and not helpful in suggesting or recommending for the menu. Took a long time to let me know the stew was not available when she brought my friend 's plate, she let me know there was no more stew. We shared his Mujerete We did not know this dish was cold. We wanted hot she took it to warm it up. Upon her return she told us this was to be eaten with a salad. What? The pickles were brought late and there were spicy. She just placed them on the table rushed. The entree was disappointing. However, the appetizers were the only good yummy plates, hummus and kibbe I will return because my first visit one of the young owner was there to recommend and service was excellent. We even bought candies to take home.
