For the price, I expected more. The charcuterie board was satisfactory, but the main dishes fell short. The halibut was watery and served in a white sauce that I couldn't identify. Given the price point, I anticipated well-developed flavors that were expertly balanced—sweet, savory, spicy, and so on—but it was truly uninspiring. On a positive note, the cocktail (which I can't recall the name of) was excellent, so I have to give the bar better marks.

The meal was decent—not terrible, but nothing exceptional either. The dessert was disappointing; I paid $9 for a tiny cold chocolate chip cookie that had a bland flour taste and was dry and hard, along with a small scoop of ice cream. The service was poor, which is common in this area. The staff was attentive but clearly overwhelmed. To top it off, during my visit, the NCAA game was on, and there was a rather unpleasant smell that made the experience worse, especially when I had to use the restroom.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. While the host was friendly, the waiter was extremely rude, and the service was terrible overall. I definitely will not be returning!
