Restaurant bewertenCrêpes au chocolat at Momnartre after a long evening walk in this clean and friendly place is indeed the ultimate French experience.
This restaurant was great! We thought it ended up being our best meal in Paris. We had the chicken and duck. The duck was topped foie gras and that was the best thing on the menu. It was delicious. The duck was sitting on mashed potatoes which just added to the dish. I had half a chicken and the entire chicken was cooked great. The white and dark meat were both cooked perfectly, leaving each very moist and nothing dried out. The menu was all on a chalkboard and we could tell the food would all be fresh when she said the you never knew what the side of vegetables were going to be because they just pick up whatever is fresh in the kitchen.
We found this place on our first night in Paris and knew, from the outside, it was going to be good. A friendly welcome, a cosy table, and a menu on a chalk board proved our first impressions to be right. Delicious, traditional, friendly and unpretentious. We ate really well and returned for more, during our short stay unheard of for us.
After 20 minutes we could order the drinks. The food came 2 hours after ordering. We had to get additional cutlery and serviettes from the empty table next to us. The meat was tough and inferior. And the bill charged more for the dishes than what was on the menu. The highlight, however, was when the garbage truck drove past about 1 meter away from the table to empty the garbage cans in the street. After all, the service was very pretty and friendly, but unfortunately completely overwhelmed.
Nous avons réservé par hasard dans ce resto et ce fût une bonne surprise.Un service excellent avec une serveuse avenante (de plus en plus rare dans Paris) et aux petits soins. Des plats de qualité et travaillé. On recommande. Merci, Pace e Salute.
