Restaurant bewertenWe wanted to find a place near where we were staying in Paris so we turned to TripAdvisor. The duck entree was very good but the crab entree was so-so. Overall the food was decent but the service was abysmal (our waiter disappeared for long periods). The lack of people in the restaurant should have been a clue.
We have been to Paris many many times and have always been disappointed by the restaurants service etc. this was our first good experience! We were greeted by the chef who made us feel welcome as explained the menu. Service was attentive. Meal was excellent. Thank you!
We have been enjoying wonderful authentic French cuisine at Le Pot de Vins for over 5 years. Chef Stephen uses seasonal ingredients and only the freshest foods. He is amazing from entrees to plats to desserts you can not go wrong here. You know a restaurant in Paris is great when you find where the locals dine. The fish dishes are among some of the best I ever had. You will also find outstanding pork, chicken and wonderful sausages. If the weather is cool you may find Chef Stephen's amazing Cassoulet the best I've ever had. The portifllos are the best you will.ever eat and if you are lucky you might even find fruit in chocolate soup !! The atmosphere is warm and friendly and English is spoken. Chalky menu changes weekly . Our go to for delicious French food and great people.
Had dinner on Monday with colleagues. Its genuinely rare where you not one of the four of us could pick any fault with any of the three courses, all different. We were taken my Albe a partner who is a regular so we were well looked after. Looking about it seemed everyone were being treated the same. Great wine, outstanding food, warm welcome. It was about €100 a head, but we feasted and drank well. I will find a reason to go back
Très bon moment. On y est allées en suivant les conseils trip-advisor, et même en ayant lu les avis avant, très bonne surprise. Menu du midi pas trop cher pour le quartier et surtout pour la qualité (19,90 plat+dessert), très bonne cuisine classique et originale en même temps, cuisson et saveurs au top, serveurs souriants et de bons conseils. Ca m'a donné envie d'écrire mon premier avis trip-advisor.
