Restaurant bewertenWhile some people know that Quebec produces some amazing Maple syrup. most do not know how it is produced! Here one can get wonderful home prepared food as well as learn a lot about how Maple syrup can be produced from (some) Maple trees. One can also ride around the property on a horse driven wagon.
It is not a big sugar shack therefore reservations are recommended. They serve the traditional sugar bush French Canadian menu, omelette, ham, beans, pancakes, pork rinds, home made pickles and ketchup and of course maple sirop. Food is served in bowls on the table and you serve yourself. They will come around and replenish your bowls as often as needed. Cost is $20 cash for adults it includes taxes but not the tip, cost for children vary between $6.50 and $13 depending on their age. Debit or credit cards are NOT accepted. The food was very tasty and served hot. There is no cash bar but you can bring your own beer, wine alcohol. Service was quick and the staff were very pleasant. There is a horse drawn sleigh to visit the grounds and of course the taffy shack. Overall, very nice experience.
Best place in Squamish if you want to have a breakfast. Very spacious and clean, friendly stuff. Outstanding coffee and pastries. Mahalo Nui Loa!
Line up can be a little long at times but worth the waitThe breakfast farm hand panini is worth it.
We've been here for at least 30 years every year. It has changed owners, but still the great ambience, food and service of the traditional « Cabane à sucre » by Quebec! The menu is simple, good and everything you can! Served... also at the table!!! Do not miss the visit to the museum, the production of syrup from Sap and enjoy the taffy on the snow. You can also take a walk in the sugar bush or take the car pulled by horses! Do not go without buying the original maple products from the boutique. Enjoy!
