Restaurant bewertenWe ate at this restaurant twice while we were staying and both times were fantastic! They have a wonderful variety of drinks, the food comes out quickly, they offer a great kids menu, and the staff is very friendly.
Food was decent, atmosphere was nice, had unique cocktails, and friendly staff. But with a few unfortunate mishaps, our experience changed quite a bit. (-) they ran out of the special of the night by 7:10pm. Our server had to come back and say it was out. (-) the French onion soup did not have cheese or the bread part. So it was more of an onion soup. Still good but I mislead and hoped for a more traditional French onion soup (-) long wait time for food.(-) I ordered a cocktail before I ordered my food. 35 mins passed and I didn't receive it. When the sever came by to ask if we needed anything, I let her know that I hadn't received my drink yet. It came about 5-10 mins later. But so did the food. I don't enjoy getting them at the same time. I wanted to sip it and enjoy it's unique taste on its own. And it shouldn't take 45 mins to get a drink. It just made me sad. And it was a good drink in the end. (-) they had to move our group half way through our experience to give our table to a bigger group. Not the end of the world, just weird and disruptive since we had been there waiting for food and drinks for so long. I am hopeful this restaurant will give others a better experience however. I hope this was just a bad night.
Small menu, limited selection that I would not consider Italian. They were out of both rustic ribs and another main item on the menu, a little strange since it was a quiet Tuesday night. We enjoyed the shrimp appetizer, perfectly done. He had the peppercorn striploin, over salted and heavy on the spices, but best fries we have had in a restaurant for a long time, piping hot and not greasy. Arctic char was pan seared perfectly but again pretty heavy on the salt.
Friendly serving staff, great soup and sandwiches, table clean up for next customer needs serious work.
I would like to be able to review the entire menu because it looked good. However, I stopped for a bite to eat upon my arrival and just wanted something small. They have a varied menu. The prices are a bit dear but then, it is a ski resort. It is expected.I ordered a Prawn & Arugula appetizer. There were about 8 prawns of reasonable size, about two bites each, covered with fresh arugula and drizzled with a marvelous tomato garlic butter sauce. It was delicious. Kerstin was a delightful waitress and my short but late visit was made very pleasant. I really enjoyed the dish.
