Restaurant bewertenI went twice 1st May dinner . 2nd May lunch. Food is good. For the dinner Bangada thali was available - I asked for surmai - pieces were small - but very tasty. I also ordered lipo fry which was very good. About 12 fish atleast. For the lunch I ordered Veg thali which was good. Owner is extremely friendly - but not very communicative - language.
Being a literal connoisseur of authentic Rustic Goan cuisine, Bekham as the owner introduced himself as did more than justice...This given the fact that the footfall at his eatery in predominantly Tourists both Expat & Indian...I can safely state that besides the fact that his Sea Food was absolutely Ocean Fresh, the flavors were absolutely traditional. As far as the ambiance goes, this is what one can and should expect from a Traditional Eatery especially just off the beach in Goa...One should understand that Traditional Flavours are not becoming served in Fine China & Silver, just as much as elegant restaurants invariably cater to the palates of Tourists who are their main benefactors.
We went there to have Goan Fish curry in dinner and found food quality not good. So please avoid if you are really looking for good taste.
We eat here every day. eating is very tasty, serving is nice and the prices are quite low. almost half the price than the meerufer restaurants. the 2 youngs that run the restaurant now are very nice and funny and sociable. the place is clean, spacious, beautifully decorated with many plants. my daughter is always happy to see how they make roti to the outside. good free wlan is available, also bike rental and a parking space.
This was the second restaurant we tried in Palolem, and we absolutely loved it. We ended up having all our meals here because the prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, and the two owners are incredibly friendly and fun. We brought our two young children with us, and they enjoyed the atmosphere and the food as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.
