Restaurant bewertenGreat Korean dishes. Friendly and helpful service. Clean restroom.
Beware of parking your car in this restaurant’s parking lot. Our car was broken into and multiple personal items were stolen. It turns out that the owners knew this was a problem but didn’t do anything to prevent this. They could easily have hired someone to watch over the parking lot for a few hours during peak time. Apparently, 15 cars were broken into the day before we ate there according to the police officer who took our report. The food was nothing special.
No extra fees or surcharges. Thank you Tofu House for the honest, inclusive menu pricing and please stay fee-free. This is our neighborhood go-to spot for sundubu (Korean soft tofu soup). For the sundubu, there are lots of choices (including vegetarian) and add-ons. I like the banchan here and they are generous with it. They also have bulgogi, bibimbap, japchae, and cold noodle soups which are refreshing on a hot summer day. It can get quite busy and full during peak dinnertime hours. To avoid the crowds, go early or snag an outdoor table. Outdoor seating: The outdoor dining tent is well-lit. It is walled in on three sides, but the tables are somewhat spread out.
The food was OK. Service was absolutely customer unfriendly. They handed us the check even before we finished our food, and then asked us to leave in 5 minutes. Half of my food was on the plate. SERIOUSLY!!!
The food was quite good but service was selectively bad, it was like the waitress chose a few parties to be extra rude to. For example we sat down before another party and she went to them first to order. Then when we started eating she gave us our check right away while other tables didn’t get theirs till they were done eating.
