Restaurant bewertenIf you're looking for good Chinese, that's not the place. Very limited selection of vegetables, with Chicken Cashews, taste apartment.
A group of 7 went here for dinner after leaving another dining venue which was awful. The staff were very welcoming and got an esky for our BYOs. The food was very good and we ordered several dishes to share. After being let down at the other venue we were all very pleased with the Red Lantern. Will definitely go there again.
We get takeaway from this location probably once a month on average and is usually good. The most recent issue was that a combination omelette had no prawns and another dish contained probably a 1/3 or more celery. I called to discuss, not wanting anything but to let them know about this issue and found the staff disinterested.
Popped in here for dinner. The company at the table was exemplary, however service was lacking. It took approximately 25 minutes to receive a menu and service. Food was adequate. However presence of staff was focussed on takeaway service and not service in house
Unfortunately the quality has gone downhill. Ordered honey chicken, special fried rice, beef in ginger and shallots and spring rolls. $45.00 later and the only thing enjoyable or tasty were the small spring rolls. Beef tough and chewy. Honey chicken well the amount of sauce was pretty much non existent and the lack of chicken annoying majority was just pieces of fried batter. Most of it was thrown out.
