Shakey's Pizza Parlor - Palmdale

I haven't had Shakey's in a minute. From what I could remember the pizza was good, so I ordered a small pepperoni pizza to go. I paid and left, but unfortunately half of my pizza was really overcooked. I called ahead to order a new pizza but was left on hold. Instead, I ordered in person and it came out quickly. The pizza was extremely sweet. I should have just eaten the unburnt half instead of wasting gas for this pizookie. If you have kids then this place is a great option. Fairly loud environment and there's an arcade area.

It 's been years since I 've visited a Shakey 's. They used to be located all over the Sacramento valley and Bay Area. Unfortunately, that 's not the case anymore. I remember visiting with my parents at lunch time when there was no school for their Bunch of Lunch, buffet that included salad, pizza, fried chicken, and what I remember as being the most delicious MoJo Potatoes! Back in the day, spaghetti was on the buffet line, too. There are some nostalgic signs hanging on the walls along with a painting of the old original Shakey 's sign and logo, that brings those memories rushing back... Nowadays, the pasta is along the lines of a penne, and they also offer mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, and mixed veggies. There 's no bar anymore where pitchers and mugs of beer are served alongside soda pop. Instead there 's a beverage station with a selection of Pepsi products. The cashier was working quickly and efficiently. The bussers were clearing tables and wiping them down regularly. And, the kitchen crew was keeping a good supply and variety of pizza on the line. They were also keeping up on all the other foods. Overall, it was a good visit and a good meal. My memory of the Mojos though is that they were way better back in the 1970 's. But maybe that 's just my mind playing tricks on me.

I had a great time at Shakeys! Our food came out quickly and tasted delicious, our server Kylie was genuinely so sweet. She brought us ranch and boxes and told us to have a great day as we left. The only issue we had was with the bugs, there's small nats that were flying around our food but besides that great service

Great customer service. Great tasting food. Lots of people but plenty of seats. Lots of parking nearby. My family had a great time.
