Restaurant bewertenI ordered a breakfast burrito ? and it was the worst I ever ate...the bacon in the burrito wasn't even cooked and the burrito was soaked in grease that it dripped like a quarter cup of grease... ? Will not be coming back EVER!!!!
Had a couple of tacos (chicken and carnitas) for lunch, which included rice and beans. After ordering, I was served freshly made tortilla chips with 2 different salsas, salsa roja and salsa verde. All of it was amazing. The sauces had a good spice to them. These were the best tacos, rice and beans I have ever had. Everything was so tasty but very light at the same time. It wasn 't overly seasoned but was delicious and flavorful. The atmosphere is fairly basic, but that is part of the charm. This isn 't your regional/national chain mexican restaurant. They have bright, vibrant colors on the walls. I would call this a whole in the wall place, and it was totally worth it. I would absolutely go here again!
This Mexican restaurant is the best one that the Antelope Valley has to offer. Yes, it's a hole in the wall type restaurant, and there are no frills here. Just good food and friendly service! The owners are fantastic people as well. Everything I've had here is just like my mom's cooking. There are even items that are prepared, but not in the menu! They have a secret menu, but you have to order ahead of time. Stop by and try the Javier Bowl (named after me), the Cabrera burrito, and other countless good dishes. Order the Northern Mexico style gorditas, the best guava and cheese empanadas (must order at least an hour ahead of time). There is also great ceviche and aguachiles. This place is legit!!
The place is hidden, next to other businesses that were closed so I thought one was too until you see theirs business hours posted. Anyway my daughter and I went to try this place out.1st because we saw it another time we passed by and said we’d try it. And another we were in the area and hungry.didn’t like what I ate, menudo, well I kind of expected more authentic homemade taste, this was more like you guys opened a can of Juanita’s menudo and just added some of your tripe in it… just a bit.. but more or less the taste was like a can , one lonely limon i got and three tortillas … ? the other thing we ordered. Well if I wanted that I would have gone best to Pollo Loco… anyway I can’t continue to write this review because it was just not good and maybe we should have stuck with just tacos huh… anyway never coming back here and won’t recommend it. Waste of $40 for sure. And yeah, good thing I didn’t tip at the beginning of me paying for the food. No way…
Don’t let the minimalist interior fool you. This place is top notch. We had the chicken tacos and they were fresh, spicy and flavorful. The staff are super friendly and overall this place is a great value. We snarfed it down in 2 minutes flat.
