Restaurant bewertenWe had not gone to the French Gazebo in years. We were thrilled to find that it was very much how we remembered it, delicious and elegant. We did not feel rushed in any way. The food was excellent as was the prompt service. We started with the escargot and pate, both of which were delicious. I had the lamb chops which were excellent! My husband had the calves liver and onions. It 's a hard item to find in restaurants these days and he was very happy to find them offered on the menu. He loved that entree! He said they were fabulous. We remembered that they used to serve soufflés. They did not mention them, typically you would have to let them know when you Order your dinner since they take longer to prepare. They gave us the regular dessert menu choices and we inquired as to whether they still offered soufflé 's. They have a chocolate soufflé and a grand mariner soufflé. We ordered one of each and they were fabulous! We would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a classy peaceful place to dine hat offers delicious food, wonderful soufflés and great service.

I have been going to this restaurant since 1996 and always had a wonderful experience especially on holidays. Mother's Day 2024 I was very disappointed especially since this was our first visit since renovations andI believe new ownership. The service was very poor. After receiving menus in took 15 minutes for someone to take order. Food wasn't as good as I remembered. The drinks waiter was very good and attentive refilling drinks etc. to top it off the computer system wasn't working so my credit card couldn't be processed so they presented a handwritten receipt to me for signature. At that point I decided I wouldn't be returning in the near future.
Extremely Disappointed! Although the ambience was lovely and we were seated in a very romantic and comfortable booth overlooking the chandeliers, sadly we will not return. The service was excellent, actually served too quickly, which hampered the dining experience. The Food was very mediocre! Very Average, Duck had NO crispy skin, Tournadeaus of Filet Mignon was 1 large filet. Overall OVERPRICED, Sorry.
The moment you arrive you know that this is going to be a special evening.The service was fantastic. I have never been to a place that the drinks arrive so fast. The menu has so many great options it is hard to decide. Food was delicious, We had escargot and I had the Duck with grand marnier, yum. Next time I will have to make room for a soufflé!
