Restaurant bewertenOn our tour of this Part of France, the town had been recommended by a neighbour. We arrived near lunch time after a drive south from Millau viaduct. we drove to the harbour sea front easy to find a large payant car park close to the facilities for a euro an hour, good value for money given its location. A local waiting for us to pay talked and we asked him to recommend somewhere for lunch, he identified this one, we walked around the block of restaurants and were aided to go inside by a welcomer outside, I had carpaccio of salmon very well presented the salmon was great with a sauce I could not identify. followed by a Tuna steak cooked to perfection. good sized portions excellent value for money. the service was outstanding attentive knowledgable. My wife had oysters starter followed by stuffed mussels with potatoes.
Very good dishes well dried kitchens with parsillade on bed of riceotto tentacules calamarsentrée oyster and very fresh work good dessert hic us, waited an hour to order dessert even if there were many people, it does not justify waiting. very pleasant location
Don't know whether it was because it was off-season but food was terrible. Located in Palavas you'd expect all of the seafood to be day-fresh but it clearly wasn't. Fish soup was completely shifted, squid-potato salad was tasteless and just not made on the spot. Main course was a bit better but tuna steak wasn't fresh so very though. Later on the evening the effects of the non fresh seafood became clear and spent the rest of the day on the toilet... to be avoided...
We waited one hour (they did not in advance). When we complain, their reaction seems to mean it was our fault. The food was medium quality, few quantity and high price .
Despite a long waiting, the plates are beautiful, well presented and we ate very well. the team is very welcoming and welcomes us in a very beautiful restaurant on the edge of the port of palavas. I recommend
