Restaurant bewertenThe food was good and reasonable in the service was great. I'd rather pay my server instead of standing on the desk
The worst service and the worst food. My friend and I ate the golden harvest because the steak house was closed. We noticed that the staff at the café were hidden in the kitchen and not available when they had no food to deliver to tables. I had the chicken broccoli pasta and it was worse than a TV dinner. I honestly think it was a prefabricated dinner that she reheated. The pasta was so over boiled, it would not season or absorb sauce, it tasted like water and was muddy. The chicken was so dry that it was unpredictable. The broccoli was not cooked. It came with garlic toast that dripping n soggy with butter n fat. That was the worst food I ever had in a restaurant. The server was rude and acted as we were uncomfortable when we asked for napkins. That was a terrible experience. The server was made aware of the terrible meal, but offered nothing, no word or comment or question why it was not eaten and why she said it was unusable. She could take care of less.
The sliders used to be great. Not sure what happened, but they were served on dry dinner rolls, the cheese did not cover the meat. No salad, tomatoes or onion just a Sch!t ton of a thousand island (which I asked them to go away) and a tiny pimple. That was my football Sunday, but not anymore.
We ordered the fish and chips. The fish was excellent. The coleslaw was oddly mixed in with the fries, it would have been better in a separate bowl. The prices included taxes, which didn't bother me. Our server was just okay.
Prices were way higher than the last time we ate here, and the portions smaller. Food was not made to order, the waiter seemed bothered I said something about it. He was not attentive, and he seemed to ignore us after the food issue, which I would expect if they were busy, but they were not. Our bottomless drinks remained empty. I am very disappointed, as I used to really enjoy eating here. Perhaps they should train their staff in customer service, which is of course the primary job in hospitality.
