Restaurant bewertenThis is the best vegan pizza I've ever eaten! everyone is so beautiful and knows how to modify ingredients to make sure it is vegan. they choose their crust, sauce and all their toppings, which are generous!
The staff are very friendly and look forward to customers. while they advertise on their website that they have vegan options, it is not clear what they are on the menu. because I checked the happy Cow entries, I was better able to ask specific, and the waitress was very good about what she could offer for vegans. she could quickly tell me that the wine-based pizza crust was vegan, but not the gluten-free crust that her marinara sauce was vegan and could replace her vegan cheese for milk based cheese. I asked them if they could make the garlic knots with olive oil and garlic instead of butter and garlic, and she said she could. we soon had a delicious meal of garlic knots and a vegetable pizza on the wine-based pizza crust with a marinara base and vegan mozzarella and feta cheese. the restaurant emphasizes that they cook from ground on and it shows. the pizza crust was crispy on the outside and soft and chewing in the middle. the sweet was plentiful and included sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, black olives, wobbles and mushrooms. the personal was attentive and efficient. we ate in the restaurant that is small. they also have takeout. definitiw I would return here next time in pagosa springs.
They have recently changed their marinara sauce to make sure it is vegan. yippee! we love it, but still prefer her olive oil and garlic because it allows to shine the sweet. simply ask for the vegan cheese for her pizza or calzone and then build her own. do not be surprised by the cost increase due to the vegan cheese. it is regrettable, but at least it is an option! limited space in the inner, but that is worth waiting.
Love Rosie's and appreciate their friendly knowledgable staff about vegan options. They have even made their pizza sauce vegan, so now vegan pizzas can be made with red sauce!
Following the great advice here on how to order a vegan pizza off-menu, we had a delicious meal here. Both their pizza and stuffed garlic knots can be prepared vegan (no butter/eggs, olive oil instead of red sauce, vegan cheese). On request, they brought us some balsamic to use with EVOO to dip the garlic knots highly recommended! The staff is very accommodating once they know you're vegan just ask them to help you with your off-menu order. As of this moment, it's the only vegan pizza in Pagosa!
